]]> Cartuxa Reserva Red 2017 is the result of a careful blend of the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez whose quality is associated with the name of the Carthusian Monks. Planted in the Eugenio de Almeida Foundation oldest vineyards, Cartuxa Reserva 2017 is well-constructed, ample wine, with notes of dried fruit and sultanas, as well as plum, fig, some dried vegetables and undergrowth, with immense tannins and a long, persistent finish. Cartuxa Reserva 2017 won the gold medal in the red wine category in the 10th edition of the Best Wines of Alentejo Competition, organized by CVRA (Alentejo Wine Regional Commission), in 2023.
